MDF Instruments has redesigned the Queen Square Hammer first popularized and named at the National Hospital for Nervous Diseases in Queen Square, London. The result is a weighted, agile percussion device for effective elicitation of myotatic, plantar, and abdominal responses with greater patient comfort.

Head: The Queen Square Hammer head is surmounted with a chrome-plated brass disc grooved to house the silicone bumper. The weighted head and soft rubber collar are perfectly suited for provoking myotatic responses.

Handle: Long, flexible nylon-plastic handle with tapered point is suited for eliciting plantar and abdominal responses.

Features

MDF Instruments Neural Reflex Hammers come in 10 different models. The MDF Instruments Taylor Hammer is available in regular, 22k Gold and Professional models. The MDF Instruments Babinski Hammer is available in a standard, Buck and Light Weight Version, each Babinski Hammer features extra tools for superficial or cutaneous responses, including plantar and abdominal reflexes. The MDF Instruments Tromner Hammers are available in a Light Weight and Heavy Duty version. And the MDF Instruments Queen Square Hammer and Babinski Hammers feature pointed tips on the handles to illicit cutaneous reflexes.
